PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) is motivated to play an active role in the Quran reading and writing program initiated by Rumah Quran Al Bayyinah, which is intended for the general public, including blind friends. Through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, Rekind provides Foundation Operational Funds, Student Assistance, and Audio Murrotal to support the smooth running of the teaching and learning process. This assistance comes from the synergy of three company elements: the Rekind TJLS Department, the Reka Sejahtera Cooperative (Kopres), and the Rekind Ulul Albaab Ta’lim Council.

Rekind President Director Triyani Utaminingsih emphasized that this support demonstrates the company’s commitment to making education a top priority in its social programs. “We believe that every human being has the same right to learn, develop, and be close to the values of faith. This assistance is not just a form of concern, but also an investment in a more diverse future,” she said.

Al Bayyinah Quran House provides access to Quran learning, both online and in-person, using a special method using braille. Currently, many blind students are participating in the program from outside Java, including Makassar and the surrounding areas. All activities are free of charge. The institution’s operations are entirely supported by donations from caring benefactors.

The blind students’ enthusiasm for learning the Quran is not just about reading, but also about rediscovering the light in their lives. The assistance from Rekind is an additional beacon on the long journey to achieve that light.

Rekind’s steps align with the spirit echoed by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, which encourages state-owned companies to actively participate in values-based social development, particularly in education. Moreover, religious-based education with an inclusive approach like this remains largely untouched.

“More than just a social program, this concrete action confirms that Rekind, a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), is not only building strategic infrastructure but also fostering humanitarian and sustainable values. Because, truly, building a nation begins with building the heart,” said Triyani Utaminingsih.

We hope that through this collaboration, more parties will be inspired to provide space and support to our brothers and sisters with special needs so they can continue to learn, contribute, and inspire.
