The solemnity and spirit of togetherness were strongly felt enveloping the environment of the PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) Head Office, especially when the only state-owned EPC company held a commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1446 H, Friday (6/6).
Through this sacred moment full of meaning, Rekind not only held Eid al-Adha Prayer, but also carried out the slaughter of qurban animals, as a real form of social concern and collective spirituality of the Rekind family.
Organized by the Majelis Ta’lim Ulul Albaab, this activity is an important annual agenda that not only strengthens spiritual ties, but also strengthens relations between employees and between the company and the surrounding community.
Eid al-Adha Prayer was held at the Ulul Albaab Mosque located in the Rekind Head Office area, Jakarta. The congregation who attended came from various elements within the Rekind Group. Starting from Rekind employees, subsidiaries (anper), cooperatives, affiliated companies (PIN), to the surrounding community. Their presence is a symbol of brotherhood and unity, which bridges all levels to celebrate this blessed holiday together.
Not only stopping at worship, Eid al-Adha at Rekind is also interpreted with real action through the slaughter of sacrificial animals. This year, the sacrificial animals distributed consisted of: 9 cows, 13 goats and 5 sheep.
The sacrificers came from Rekind employees, subsidiaries, cooperatives, and affiliated companies. This participation is a manifestation of the collective spirit in sharing sustenance and spreading benefits to others. The slaughtering process was also carried out in accordance with sharia procedures, full of order and a sense of responsibility. The organizing committee—consisting of internal elements of the Rekind Group—carefully supervised every stage of the activity, from slaughtering to distribution.
One of the things that makes this activity proud is the wide scope of benefits that were successfully distributed. No less than 1,561 packages of sacrificial meat were distributed to two groups of recipients, Internal: Sacrificers, Rekind Group employees, cooperatives, and affiliated companies. Meanwhile, external parties consist of residents from 11 RTs around the head office, mass organizations, foundations, sub-districts, police, military districts, and other community elements.
The distribution was carried out fairly and systematically, reflecting the professionalism of the committee as well as sincerity in sharing. For the surrounding community, this activity is not just a matter of distributing meat, but a real symbol of harmonious relations and the company’s active role in social life. Eid al-Adha at Rekind this year is not only a spiritual momentum, but also an event to strengthen the company’s noble values: solidarity, mutual cooperation, and social concern. In the midst of dense industrial and business activities, Rekind still provides space for its employees to grow holistically—both professionally and spiritually.
