Mosaik Kopi, one of PT Rekayasa Industri’s (Rekind) fostered partners, is enlivening the BNI Investor Daily Summit 2024. The presence of Rekind’s fostered partners whose products are processed coffee made by children with special needs (Down syndrome) is because they are ‘in partnership’ with PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), which represents the holding.

Despite this, the presence of Kopi Mosaik still has great meaning, especially as a symbol of support for the Pupuk Indonesia Group, including Rekind, in its efforts to support community economic improvement, including encouraging the independence of children with special needs in introducing them to the world of business and creative industries.

“The participation of our fostered partners in this event is a form of Pupuk Indonesia’s commitment to not only contribute to the agricultural and fertilizer sector but also to social and economic development in society. “We believe that every individual, regardless of limitations, has the potential to work and contribute to the nation’s economy,” explained Rekind President Director Triyani Utaminingsih on a separate occasion.

Rekind is also committed to continuing to collaborate with various parties, to be able to develop training programs that help Down syndrome children improve their coffee production, business management, and marketing skills. This program not only focuses on technical training but also on developing character and self-confidence, so that they can compete in the Market.

Mosaik Coffee is a unique product that combines various coffee variants from several regions and is processed like most coffee. In the manufacturing process, this coffee involves the skills of children with Down syndrome as part of the production team, so that each coffee serving not only offers a variety of flavors but also contains high social value. By introducing Kopi Mosaik, Rekind seeks to support inclusivity and create job opportunities for those who are often marginalized in society.

Therefore, at this prestigious national and international event, Mosaik Coffee which was placed at the PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) booth received attention and enthusiasm from several visitors and exhibition participants. They can taste various coffee variants directly and see first-hand the production and serving process involving children with Down syndrome.

Fahmi, one of the exhibition visitors, has high hopes that Mosaik Coffee Products will be able to compete with other coffee producers which are currently experiencing very rapid development. “The hope is that we can compete in the market with competitive prices and be able to maintain our taste well,” added the man who said he was curious to try the coffee made by children with Down syndrome.

“With the support of investors and the community, we believe this program can develop even wider, creating more jobs for children with Down syndrome and increasing awareness about their potential. “We invite all parties to join this movement,” added SVP Corporate Secretary Rekind Edy Sutrisman.
