President Director of PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) Triyani Utaminingsih held a roadshow to a number of universities. Its presence is part of an effort to provide ideas, programs, supplies as well as an introduction to the world of EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) which is inherent in Rekind’s daily life.

For the first time, the woman who is familiarly called Yani started a roadshow to the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, University of Indonesia (UI). Yani, who was present with Mohamad Agung, SVP Power, Fertilizer & Overseas Commercial Rekind, was asked to held a One Session Capita Selekta Lecture entitled “The Role of Chemical Engineering Engineers in Industrial EPC Projects,” at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, UI, Wednesday (31/5).

“Apart from introducing the world of EPC, Rekind is here to motivate prospective young engineers to be able to work and develop their country independently. “Apart from that, these students must also be exposed to academic insight into various types of projects and how EPC companies work,” explained Yani.

So, through this description it will further increase the self-confidence and abilities of Indonesian engineers, especially in developing their nation in the fields of energy, petrochemicals and oil and gas.

“Rekind always builds strong synergies with campuses. We work together starting from recruitment, research, internship and often we collaborate to work on projects, FEED, or troubleshooting project problems. “It’s not wrong if someone considers that Rekind is a university partner, as well as a place to study and a home for engineers to work towards one goal, moving forward together for Indonesia,” Yani emphasized.

According to Her, Rekind is known as a pioneer and leader in the EPC sector. Rekind was founded by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in 1981 as a state-owned company that focused on building petrochemical factories. This recognition and achievement can also be achieved thanks to the maximum support of Rekind’s young engineers who never give up and are thirsty for EPC knowledge, because previously this knowledge was only dominated by foreign companies.
