A Drop of Innovation, a Million Lives: TIS Holds Blood Drive to Celebrate 6th Anniversary

A Drop of Innovation, a Million Lives” was the title of the blood drive held by PT Tracon Industri Solusindo (TIS), a subsidiary of PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind). This social activity took place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at TIS’s headquarters in the Graha Arsa Building, South Jakarta.

The blood drive was part of a series of celebrations for the 6th anniversary of this subsidiary of PT Tracon Industri. More than just a social activity, this event demonstrated the company’s spirit of social care and innovation.

Hardiyanto, Director of PT Tracon Industri Solusindo, was also present and participated in the blood drive. “This blood drive is not just part of the company’s anniversary celebration, but also a tangible manifestation of the spirit of social care and innovation that we always promote at TIS. A drop of blood donated today could save someone’s life,” said Hardiyanto.

Several company officials were also present, including General Manager of Operations Yudi Harjanta, Engineering Manager Dina Maulana, Marketing & Business Development Manager Isma Fajar, Finance Manager Ria Alvernia, and Corporate Strategy & Secretary (CSS) Manager Peggy, who also served as the event’s coordinator.

Hardiyanto added that this humanitarian activity also represents the company’s effort to instill humanitarian values in every activity carried out by TIS. “We strive to demonstrate the spirit of innovation not only through technology and work processes, but also through social contributions among Rekind Group employees who care about life and society,” he said.

He hopes this blood donation drive can become a regular company event, given the high level of participant enthusiasm. “Many hope similar events can continue, because besides improving our own health, we can also provide significant benefits to others,” Hardiyanto explained confidently.

This activity was made possible through strong collaboration across work units within TIS. The main organizers were the CSS and QHSE teams, with full support from Human Capital (HC) and all divisions within TIS. This activity also collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) South Jakarta as the technical implementing partner.

A total of 73 participants, consisting of TIS employees, Graha Arsa tenants, local residents, and Rekind representatives, participated. The activity collected 48 blood bags, which will be distributed to help meet the needs of patients in various hospitals. With this spirit of togetherness and ongoing concern, innovation at TIS is evident beyond the industrial realm, but also in every humanitarian action that brings hope to others.
