Rekind’s story in Power & Mining began a few decades ago. Starting from the efforts to develop a 2 x 25 MW Steam Power Turbine Generator, which began in 1993-1995. Rekind is also trusted by the government to develop the construction of the Geothermal Power Plant construction and realize the Cement Tuban I Project with a capacity of 7,500 T / day in the 1990s.Armed with knowledge and experience Rekind has, Rekind was convinced to step into the leading and trusted national EPCC company that would explore the world.

Rekind’s effort to realize this sector began in Southeast Asian region, which is known for its rich mineral resources. In this region Rekind has developed its capabilities, starting from designing and building factories that process mineral and metal resources, such as ferronickel, coal, aluminum, and cement. All is done with the best performance patterns through a productive, timely and cost-effective management system.

Currently Rekind is known to have the ability to regasify coal and improve coal quality, as well as general processing of ore.

Through 38 years of experiences, Rekind has been able to realize more than 2000 MW of power plants (coal, gas and geothermal) throughout the archipelago.

Rekind also has the ability and expertise in the field of design and construction of complex infrastructure projects, as part of industrial plants, such as ports and coal terminals.

Therefore, this subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia proactively takes a further role in this field. The goal is to be able to provide comprehensive services,  from Design, Construction of Water Treatment Plants, Wastewater Management Systems, and Demineralization Factories.
