Currently, PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) is preparing strategic steps to produce international standard human resources (HR). This strategic step also targets all human resources under the auspices of Pupuk Indonesia (PI) Group, as a form of corporate transformation and innovation led by Rahmad Pribadi as President Director of PI.

To achieve this target, the State-Owned Enterprise which operates in the field of fertilizer and chemical production, is currently ‘deliberating’ the implementation of human capital transformation which refers to three strategic initiatives. First, strengthen the organization through a better talent strategy. Second, strengthening talent sourcing, diversity, a sense of attachment to the company, and employee affiliation. Third, create a collaborative and high-performance company culture.

The socialization of the implementation was carried out by the Director of HR, Governance & Risk Management of PI, Tina T. Kemala Intan, who is currently involved directly in all PI Group companies. Friday (20/10), Rekind was appointed as the host for the implementation of socialization entitled Enhancing Organizational Capabilities Socialization within the PI Group.

The socialization activity was led directly by Tina T. Kemala Intan, and was also attended by talents from Board of Directors (BOD)-1, BOD-2, and BOD-3 from other non-fertilizer PI Subsidiaries, such as PI Logistics, PI Pagan, PI Utility, and PI Niaga.

In this socialization, it was explained that Pupuk Indonesia is currently preparing world-class human resources, starting with strengthening the talent selection strategy. These include selecting employees with superior performance, implementing AKHLAK’s main values, having the competencies and learning agility required to face future challenges, then top talents are deployed to various strategic projects which are proven to have a positive impact on EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization). The aim is to increase the company’s capabilities.

From the perspective of these talents, the benefits obtained are personal and career development. In practice, the talent development (talent mobility) that will be applied to these talents consists of 4 models, namely from holding to subsidiary, from subsidiary to holding, from large subsidiary to small subsidiary, and from small subsidiary to large subsidiary company.

Every talent is asked to always be ready to contribute excellence and bring positive change wherever assigned. The hope is that PI Group will grow into a large international class company and bring much more goodness to the nation.
