PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) engineers have begun their assignment at TOYO Engineering Corporation (TEC) Japan, under the Master Framework Agreement (MFA) Umbrella Contract Project which was signed by Rekind and TEC on July 27 this year. The person who initiated the assignment was entrusted to Herdadi Supriyo Parbowo, who was appointed as the Lead Process Engineer.

Herdadi is the first Engineer sent by Rekind for assignment to the TEC Head Office since November 16 2023. Currently, he is serving in the Process Engineering Department whose job is to focus on supporting the AKSUL Project and is then projected to be assigned to the Pusri 3B Project.

Herdadi is a Process Engineer with excellent competence and meets the qualifications for this project. He has joined Rekind 12 years ago and has been involved in the construction of seven EPC projects carried out by Rekind, including power plants, petrochemicals, sulfuric acid plants and natural gas. His involvement as the main engineering process / Commissioning & start-up. After sending this first engineer, TEC will accept other engineer candidates in the future and will place them at TEC Office, Chiba, Japan.

This Umbrella Contract Collaboration aims to strengthen the cooperation between TEC and Rekind as the leading EPC Company in Indonesia and also to establish good relations with the Parent Company Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company (PIHC).

In the MFA Contract, Rekind was partnered to collaborate in the fields of engineering, FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, project management services and provision of supporting resources. Not only in Japan, Rekind engineers are also planned to be placed in other countries such as Thailand, Malaysia and where the TEC project will be implemented, to support TEC’s global operations, especially in working on fertilizer projects that are currently or will be carried out.

Of course, this is a new historical breakthrough that is able to touch back on memories of the past, where since its inception, Rekind has collaborated with TEC several times in supporting the development of EPC projects in the country.

“We are confident that through this collaboration we will be able to lift even higher and sharpen Rekind’s competence in supporting the company transformation that we are currently preparing to face today’s competition. “This also proves that Rekind’s competence is recognized worldwide,” said Rekind President Director Triyani Utaminingsih after signing the MFA Thursday (27/3).

Triyani Utaminingsih emphasized that Rekind is an EPC company whose competence is still considered by well-known EPC companies both nationally and internationally.

Through its 42 years of competence and experience, it is not surprising that several foreign companies, including Toyo, are always interested in collaborating with this nation’s EPC company. “Many large-scale industrial projects have been completed through this collaboration with the best results, such as the construction of a number of fertilizers, chemical and petrochemical factories in the country,” he added.
