Inauguration / Opening Ceremony of Balongan Blue Sky Project, Indramayu by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono

To overcome the Fuel Crisis and to control the air pollution in Indonesia, and becoming the first project created by national resources, Rekayasa was put in charge to develop the Refinery Plant at Balongan, Indramayu. This Project was inaugurated by The President of Republic of Indonesia, DR Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on August 28.

This Pertamina owned Project was developed in 2003 with the objective to produce unleaded fuelwith 52.000 barrel per day capacity and was fully operated to supply fuel to Jakarta and surrounding since mid 2005.

This Project was know as Blue Sky Balongan Project and Rekayasa was responsible for full turn key EPC project with total billing of US $ 152.975.000
